Orlando Fly Casting Lessons

I’m Capt. Chris Myers, one of the few Fly Fishers International Certified Casting Instructors (CCI) in Central Florida. For more than 30 years I’ve been fly fishing, and for the last 15+ years I’ve have been teaching fly casting to anglers of all experience levels.

For the past two decades I’ve also worked as a full-time saltwater flats fishing guide on the Mosquito and Indian River Lagoon. These waters are world-renowned for sight fishing, and my years on the flats have given me a unique perspective on what works when the conditions are tough — wind, shallow water, spooky fish, and short casting windows.

Developing my extensive YouTube fly fishing library with almost 50,000 subscribers has helped me delve deep into the science and mechanics of casting a flyrod. Interaction with subscribers from around the world has helped me learn the kind of things students are wanting to learn.
